A brief interview with Ken Grange – associated with his retrospective at the Design Museum may be found at:

I will leave it to the historians to place him accurately into the lineage but I see him as a link between the “traditional” American industrial designers such as Bill Mitchell,  Raymond Loewy or Henry Dreyfus and our modern hero of Ive, Brown et al.
